Built to Promote Success

In Tuskegee, we’re building a place where people can breathe, reconnect, and take the next step forward—one steady moment at a time.
Our flagship work is the Tuskegee Horse Therapy Program, an equine-assisted services program designed to support participants through safe, structured interactions with horses and a trained team.

Tuskegee Horse Therapy Program
The Tuskegee Horse Therapy Program is our flagship initiative. We provide structured, supportive equine-assisted services designed to help participants build practical skills—confidence, emotional regulation, communication, and healthy routines—through safe interaction with horses and a trained team.
Because equine-assisted services can include different types of work (therapy, learning, and adaptive/therapeutic horsemanship), our program is transparent about what we offer and who provides it.
Every session is designed around safety, predictability, and achievable goals. Depending on participant needs and the service model, sessions may include:
-
meeting the horse and learning approach-and-space boundaries
-
grooming and basic barn routines
-
leading exercises (walking, stopping, turning) with staff support
-
reflection and skill practice (naming emotions, grounding skills, communication)
